The Jenkins Organization Key Personnel



Ricky Jenkins serves as President and sole owner of The Jenkins Organization, Inc., TJO 10 X 10 Management, Ltd. and The Storage Web, LLC. He has been directly involved in over $500 million in self storage transactions.

Ricky serves as a board member of the Texas Self Storage Association and SBOA TI Reinsurance, and is a graduate of the University of Texas.


Chief Operating Officer

Troy Sheppard serves as Chief Operating Officer for TJO. Troy’s primary function is to oversee all home office and field operations. This includes direct responsibility for manager training, human resources, revenue management, bookkeeping, recruiting, operational policies and procedures, repair and maintenance processes, and overall profitability of the managed facilities.

Troy joined TJO in 2003 after serving as a District Manager for Private Mini Storage, an owner/operator of over 50 self-storage properties. Troy began at TJO as District Manager overseeing multiple markets. During his career with TJO he began handling construction related issues and coordinating operational takeovers of acquisitions. Troy was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2015. Troy is recognized for his industry knowledge, people skills, work ethic, character and integrity.


Chief Information Officer

Dayna Dukett is the Chief Information Officer at TJO. Dayna manages the overall web presence and marketing campaigns for TJO managed properties including search engine optimization, search engine marketing, lead management and distribution, internet marketing campaign development and management, and oversight of the general technical support needs of the company. Mr. Dukett has over 10 years of experience in internet marketing with a primary focus on the real estate industry. Prior to joining TJO, Dayna spent nine years at Findit Apartment Locators managing a very successful internet marketing department that built websites producing over 3,000 real estate leads per month while being consistently ranked at or near the top of search engine results pages.

He has developed a comprehensive portfolio of successful SEO campaigns across multiple industries, including: oil & gas, retail, commercial transportation, residential real estate, and self storage.


Director of Acquisitions

Minh Tran serves as the Director of Acquisitions for TJO. Minh’s primary function at TJO is to develop and maintain relationships with prospective owners who will look to exit their properties at some point in the future. His long standing relationships with owners on a national basis, as well as the major Texas markets, create a pipeline for current and future acquisitions. Minh joined TJO in 2010 after working as a commercial real estate broker focusing solely on the self storage industry for seven years. Since joining TJO in August, 2010, Minh has been focusing on the major metropolitan markets of Texas, and has helped acquire over $50 million in self storage assets.

Minh started his self storage career as broker with CB Richard Ellis in their Self Storage Advisory Group. During his time with CB Richard Ellis (2003-2005), Minh was a part of $500 million in self storage property transactions, and the group became the premier brokerage company in the self storage industry.

In 2006, the group formed their own company, Storage Investment Advisors, LLP (“SIA”). Minh was one of three senior partners within the firm, and helped the company transact over $300 million in self storage transactions. In 2008, SIA was acquired by Holliday Fegnolio Fowler L.P, one of the largest capital market intermediary firms in the real estate industry. Minh participated at HFF on financing and equity placements in addition to brokerage assignments. In total, Minh has transacted on over $1 billion of self storage properties nationwide.


Director of Development

Robb joined TJO in July 2014. His primary focus is sourcing self storage development opportunities, and oversight of all storage development activities through project completion.

Previously Robb was with Edge Realty Partners where he was responsible for building and executing strategic growth plans in Central Texas for several national groups including Public Storage. Previous experience also includes tenure as Vice President of Strategy and Development for Uchi Restaurant Group, acquisitions and development consulting for American Campus Communities, and project management work with Toll Brothers, Inc.

Robb received a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, and a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.


District Manager

Dwight has been with The Jenkins Organization, Inc. for over eight years as a District Manager. Prior to joining TJO, Dwight worked for seven years as a District Manager for Shurgard Self Storage , a former REIT in the self storage industry that was purchased by Public Storage. He began his career in the self storage industry with Four Seasons Storage.


District Manager

Prior to joining the Jenkins Organization, Jeremy served 4 years as the Senior District Manager for Platinum Storage Group, a privately held storage operation out of Irvine CA. Jeremy was responsible for all operations in the Southwest and Northeast markets and combined has over 9 years experience in the self-storage sector. His previous experience includes but not limited to marketing, collections, Investor relations, receivership and inventory control. Jeremy has been recognized in the industry for his effective team building as well as hiring and placement in various markets.
